Steady Home Maintenance was founded by Josh and J.R. The creation of Steady is the result of necessity and determination.  Steady’s founders are homeowners and local real estate investors. In both capacities, they know that it is necessary to keep a well-maintained home, both for the sake of the home and the sake of the family.  They also know it can be difficult to find a contractor that handles small repairs. Not that they aren’t out there; they can just be difficult to find. So, Josh and J.R. became determined to fix that for their local area.

They decided that Steady would only focus on small repairs and home maintenance projects. Period. They decided to make sure Steady could always be reached, was always available in a timely manner, and could be your one call for all home maintenance needs. Simply put, they want to make home maintenance easy for the homeowner.

In the name of making things easy, Steady also offers a few variations of subscriptions.  Some that are literally a “set it and forget it” list of maintenance tasks, and some that are more custom catered.  You don’t have to be a subscriber to use Steady though, it’s just an option to make your life simple.

The founder’s real estate roots have not disappeared either. They have crafted a special part of the company around the real estate inspection punch list. At the end of the day, the punch list is a long list of small projects, right in Steady’s wheelhouse. The inspection punch list can also be the one thing that stalls a real estate closing. No one wins if the deal does not close. They are PASSIONATE about the punch list and getting real estate deals to the closing table. They may even be bold enough to challenge you to find another company as efficient and responsive as Steady is to the punch list.

As the company has grown, Josh and J.R. have added light renovation work to the company’s services. They are especially attentive to projects that create efficient and functional space where there otherwise was none (think garage and pantry storage!).  Throughout the growth, the hub of the company will always be making it easy for the customer to get small projects completed.
